Searching over the valley towards the Yorkshire moors beyond, Wendy Master and Thomas French understood their decision to purchase the dilapidated farmhouse was right. ‘It is easily the most beautiful place,’ states Wendy. ‘We both understood it had been where we would have liked to invest the remainder of our lives.’
Built of enormous bits of outfitted Yorkshire gritstone, the traditional Yeoman Clothiers farmhouse, dating back 1575, was not resided set for ten years and it is newest renovations were created within the 1960s. Wendy and Thomas started a significant renovation from the listed property.

They acquired planning permission to include a brand new stone mullioned window introducing natural light in to the room. ‘We could create a welcoming sitting area with breakfast table, positioned for a lot- reaching views over the valley,’ states Wendy.

5. An Area-SAVING BANQUETTE
That old kitchen didn’t include space for your loved ones to collect for meals, something which Wendy and Thomas desired to resolve. ‘Given age, character and listed status of the home, we couldn’t enlarge the area,’ explains Wendy.
