Frequently overlooked, sometimes nothing more than a repository for footwear and jackets, but always part one of your house that visitors see, entryways can lack impact and personality.
However, this is actually the one space that actually deserves some love. ‘Entryway ideas trail in recognition behind individuals for living spaces, kitchens and bedrooms,’ states Homes & Gardens’ Editor in Chief. ‘And this space is frequently left until last when homes are decorated. However, they set a dark tone for the entire home, therefore it is fundamental to have them right.’
We spoke solely to interior designer Charu Gandhi, founding father of interior planning agency Elicyon, that is famous because of its contemporary projects. Here, she advises how she creates modern entryways with character.
1. ADD PERSONALITY WITH EYE-CATCHING FURNITURE
I really like using interesting furniture within an entrance hall – a very beautiful console table, or perhaps a very sculptural piece.
